Team
The team is a unique cocktail of informal technical expertise, creativity, and deep scientific insights.
It is formed by five professionals as follows.
Ernesto Damiani
Prof. Ernesto Damiani is a full professor at the Università degli Studi di Milano and the director of the Information Security Research Center, KUSTAR, Khalifa University Emirati Arabi Uniti. He has also done extensive research the design and deployment of secure high–performance networking environments, both as chief scientist and in management positions. His areas of interest include Cloud and Web services security, processing of semi and unstructured information, and semantics-aware content engineering for multimedia. He is a senior member of the IEEE and ACM distinguished scientist. Ernesto Damiani leads/has led a number of FP7/H2020 projects like TOREADOR, EVOTION, ASSERT4SOA (STREP), CUMULUS (STREP), ARISTOTELE (IP) to name but a few. Since 2015, he is scientific coordinator of British Telecom Innovation Center, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Claudio Agostino Ardagna
Prof. Claudio Agostino Ardagna is an Full Professor at the Dipartimento di Informatica, Università degli Studi di Milano, Italy. His research interests are in the area of information security and privacy in distributed and mobile networks, with particular consideration of cloud and SOA security, security certification of software and services. The results of research activities have been published in more than 100 papers in international conference/workshop proceedings, journals, and chapters in books. He is the recipient of the ERCIM STM WG 2009 Award for the Best PhD Thesis on Security and Trust Management. He has co-authored the Springer book “Open Source Systems Security Certification”.
Marco Anisetti
Dr. Marco Anisetti is an Full Professor at the Università degli Studi di Milano. He received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the Università degli Studi di Milano in 2009. His research interests are in the area of Computational Intelligence and its application to the design of complex systems and services. Recently, he has been investigating the adoption of Computational Intelligence techniques in the area of security mechanisms for distributed systems, with particular consideration of Cloud and SOA security and software/service certification.
Filippo Gaudenzi
Filippo Gaudenzi is a Cloud and Web Expert. He got MSc degree’s in Computer Engineering in 2012 and Ph.D. in Computer science in 2018 and he is working in cloud and certification fields since 5 years. He worked as a developer for Contrail FP7 project (http://contrail-project.eu/) , he leaded the developement in Cumulus FP7 project (http://www.cumulus-project.eu/). He has excellent knowledge of Java, AngularJS, Python, HTML5, CSS, JAVASCRIPT programming language and of different cloud IaaS/PaaS such as Openstack, CloudFoundry, Opennebula and public cloud such as AWS, Azure, Google.
